(Sept. 9, 2013) -- Hiawatha National Forest has announced that several of its campgrounds will close early following the unanticipated early departure of the campground concession operator.

The map will be shaded in green (not peaking) to bright red (peaking) to brown (past peak). Another map will help visitors find a national forest nearest them to enjoy the colors of fall.

(Sept. 9, 2013) -- Yellowstone National Park officials have launched an investigation after an Idaho woman reported her 3-year-old daughter shot herself with a handgun in a campground, Fox News reported. It was the first shooting death in the park since 1978.
