Cummins CEO, employees "burn" for charity

(Feb. 13, 2012) -- During the recent two-week "Beat the Chief" challenge, Virgin HealthMiles CEO Chris Boyce and Tom Linebarger, CEO of one of the company's leading clients, Columbus, Ind.-based Cummins, put it all on the line to see which executive could burn the most calories. At stake was a $1,000 donation to the charity of the winner's choice.

N.D. state park reservations begin tomorrow

(Feb. 13, 2012) -- It’s time to start planning for camping in 2012 and reservations can start being made at North Dakota State Parks on Tuesday, Feb. 14 beginning at 7 a.m. State parks officially open Friday, May 18 and the 95-day reservation window allows visitors to make sure they have a campsite or cabin/yurt ready upon arrival.

Sections of Blue Ridge Parkway close today

(Feb. 13, 2012) -- The Blue Ridge Parkway will close the section between State Route 191 to State Route 151 beginning Monday, Feb. 13, 2012. The Parkway will also close the section between U.S. Route 19 to the end of the Parkway at U.S. Route 441. These closures are required to complete repairs of Ferrin Knob Tunnel #1 and Big Witch Tunnel.
