RVDA convention offers RV rental workshops

(July 31, 2012) -- Back by popular demand, the RV Learning Center is developing a series of workshops at the 2012 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo for RV rental companies. Attendees will learn about the nuts and bolts of RV rental agreements, updates on RV rental law and how to choose what products to offer, said Phil Ingrassia, president of the RV Dealers Association.

TXAD develops three new campground websites

(July 31, 2012) -- All three campgrounds websites had been hosted by TXAD Internet Services but were looking for a more contemporary look. They all are classified as ‘Deluxe’ websites that come with search engine optimization and website changes included for the first year. In the case of Catskill Adventure Resort, they also included a .mobi version of their new website.

Priority One offers online OFAC search for dealers

(July 30, 2012) -- This list is used to check on terrorists, narcotics traffickers and others engaged in activities and threats to national security. All businesses, including recreational dealerships, are required by law, to review this list prior to entering into any sales or finance contract. The government’s list has limited functionality and will not detect misspellings or other incorrectly entered text, and will not return near matches. Priority One takes care of that problem.

RV industry reinvented in Oregon

(July 30, 2012) -- The RV industry was once Lane County’s second ­largest industry, but since 2007, it has lost 3,200 jobs. Rather than giving up, many of the people who were suppliers to or employees of the once bustling RV factories have reinvented themselves, reports The Register-Guard.
