(Dec. 13, 2011) -- Golden Gate National Recreation Area announced the transfer late Friday, Dec. 9, of 3,800-acre Rancho Corral de Tierra from the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) to the National Park Service.
Arizona’s Oracle State Park reopening Feb. 4

Pennsylvania RV dealers optimistic about future

California’s Furnace Creek Campground to close Feb. 1
(Dec. 13, 2011) -- Campers who already have reservations will be relocated to other campgrounds in the Furnace Creek area and their reservations will be honored. Tent campers will be moved to the Texas Springs Campground, and all other campers will be moved to Sunset Campground.
