MOARC launches mobile website

(April 16, 2012) -- The mobile version of the CampinMissouri.com website has gone live, providing an easier way for RVers to find their favorite campgrounds in Missouri on the go. The mobile version has all the same themes and elements as the desktop version including the top benefit of Find a Park. The site also includes a calendar of events and information on RV dealers in Missouri and Missouri Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (MOARC) trade members.

Aug. 13-17: Gulf Streamers Rally in Wisconsin

(April 16, 2012) -- The Gulf Streamers announced last week they will conduct their annual rally and celebrate their 25th anniversary Aug. 13 to 17 at the Fox Hill RV Park and Campground in Baraboo, Wisc. Registration costs $355 per person or $465 per couple and includes four nights of camping at Fox Hill RV Park as well as a variety of fun activities.

April 20-22: Fort Myers FRVTA show

(April 16, 2012) -- The three-day-event will feature 11 dealers from throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast displaying a wide selection of new, used and leftover recreation vehicles of all styles, brands and price ranges. “You can bring your family together by taking them away,” Iacono explained. The admission-free RV show is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days. On-site financing will be available to qualified buyers. 

New York state parks to go smoke-free

(April 16, 2012) -- Smoke-free areas will be created around all playgrounds and swimming pools, as well as other zones specifically designated as no-smoking areas. These may include specific swimming beaches or areas of swimming beaches; pavilions and picnic shelters; outdoor seating areas that are nearby food and beverage concessions; areas where outdoor environmental education programs are held; or public gardens.
