Hall of Fame kicks off fundraiser

(May 8, 2012) -- The RV/MH Hall of Fame & Museum (Hall) launched a new fund raising campaign in May to lower its bank loan from 1st Source Bank by $200,000. The goal is to raise $100,000 in voluntary contributions by Aug. 31. The Boots Ingram family has put up a $100,000 challenge grant for the purpose of lowering the Hall's bank loan so each contribution by friends of Hall is actually double the amount contributed -- a $100 gift, in effect, becomes a $200 gift.

Idaho, Texas rank as friendliest business states

(May 8, 2012) -- Today Thumbtack.com, in partnership with the Kauffman Foundation, released new data showing that Idaho, Texas, Oklahoma and Utah all earned A-plus ratings for their friendliness toward small businesses.  In contrast, small business owners gave California, Hawaii, Vermont, and Rhode Island an ‘F,’ while New York narrowly avoided this lowest category with a 'D' grade.
