Canadian GDP declines in August

(Oct. 31, 2012) -- Canada's gross domestic product (GDP) declined 0.1 percent in August, which was much weaker than market expectations of a 0.2 percent increase. This decline followed an unrevised 0.2 percent increase in July, RBC Economics reported today.
