Maine residents seek new national park

(Nov. 10, 2015) -- Supporters of a North Woods National park east of Baxter State Park say they intend to deliver a petition signed by more than 13,000 people to Maine’s congressional delegation endorsing a proposal for a national park and recreation area on up to 150,000 acres, the Washington Times reported.
