Canadian consumer prices fall in May

(June 22, 2012) -- The all-items Canadian consumer price index (CPI) fell 0.1 percent in May 2012, facing off against the 0.7 percent jump recorded in May 2011, and resulting in the annual inflation rate falling to 1.2 percent from April's 2.0 percent.
