Travel groups urge against federal shutdown

(Sept. 28, 2015) -- A coalition of groups representing the outdoor and travel industries sent letters to President Obama and congressional leaders urging cooperation to avoid an expected federal government shutdown over later this month, which would likely close national parks and other government lands.
