Initial jobles claims fall last week

(Oct. 2, 2014) -- Initial unemployment claims fell by 8,000 in the United States to 287,000 in the week ending Sept. 27, and followed an upwardly revised 295,000 reading (was 293,000) in the previous week, RBC Economics reported.
