Spartan appoints new board member

(Feb. 24, 2012) -- Andrew Rooke currently serves as president and chief operating officer of Manitex International, Inc., a North American manufacturer of engineered lifting equipment, a position he has held since 2007.  His professional experience includes GKN Sinter Metals, where he served as chief financial officer, and with other organizations that include Quaker Oats, Ltd., and Rolls Royce, Ltd.
