Consumer prices rise 0.4 percent in May

(June 17, 2014) -- Consumer prices rose 0.4 percent in May 2014, which was up from 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent increases in April and March, respectively, and above market expectations for a 0.2 percent monthly increase, RBC Economics reported.
