TACO Spring meeting motivates campground owners

(May 22, 2014) -- ash-strapped cities and utilities in Texas are increasingly targeting campgrounds, RV parks and resorts with unfair fees and sharp increases in property taxes as they look for ways to increase their revenue. At the same time, some Texas jurisdictions are trying to prevent existing RV parks from expanding or new parks being built.
