U.S. industrial production jumps 0.6 percent

(March 17, 2014) -- Manufacturing production, which accounts for about three-quarters of overall industrial production, rebounded 0.8 percent as production returned to normal levels following a weather-related 0.9 percent drop (was -0.8 percent) in January.
