Retirement unlikely for blue-collar workers

(Jan. 2, 2013) -- The share of U.S. workers who are 55 and older is expected to continue growing, AP noted, citing the The Oxford Handbook of Retirement 2013. The publication showed workers over 55 comprised 12.4 percent of the workforce in 1998, 18.1 percent in 2008 and will jump to 25 percent by 2018.
