Industrial production up, but so is inflation

(July 16, 2013) -- Consumer prices in the United States were up 0.5 percent in June following the 0.1 percent increase recorded in May. Canadian manufacturing sales rose 0.7 percent in May, partially retracing a sizeable 2.1 percent drop in April. Industrial production in the United States rose 0.3 percent in June to meet market expectations, RBC Economics reported today.
