National parks face tough decisions

(April 19, 2013) -- It takes less than one-tenth of one percent (one-fourteenth to be exact) of the federal budget to operate America's 59 national parks every year. And, each year, the National Park Service's slice of the federal pie gets smaller and smaller, a blogger at Gimby.org noted today.
