Starlights comes to the aid of diabetic boy

(April 5, 2013) -- "Talan is a 6-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes about seven months ago. His family and the community are raising money to purchase a diabetic alert dog which will be able to sense Talan’s blood sugar highs and lows much sooner than any medical device," said Jamie Weaver, a spokesperson for Starlights.
