Since returning to the helm of RV Daily Report in January, it has been a tough couple of months requiring some serious soul searching and reviewing of all available options. However, after a lot of prayerful consideration, I have concluded the time has come to put RV Daily Report to rest. We're going to cease publication June 21 and the domain will be switched off a short time after that. Source

The California Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CalARVC) today announced that it has changed the association’s name to CampCalNow RV Park and Campground Alliance following a settlement with the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC). Source

When 100 guests showed up April 1 for Fantasy RV Tours’ 10th Reunion RV Rally in Nashville, they expected to have a great time. That they did, but they also made a substantial gift to Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee. Source

"The RV Industry Association’s long held position is that RVs do not belong under a Lemon Law system that is designed specifically for automobiles that provide essential every-day transportation," RVIA explained. "This is not anti-consumer. The association works proactively in states to create a motorhome Lemon Law that is supported by the industry and even consumer groups." Source

They’ll be allowed to stay up to 30 days, and all campsites will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Campers will need to take their own equipment and supplies. Source

Scenic Park Campgrounds in South Sioux City has already flooded three times this year. A portion of the western campgrounds is closed due to the high water now expected to rise again with all the recent rain. While nothing at the campground has been damaged, it's still creating problems for camping season. Source
