The Forest Preserve District has received a $400,000 grant to install a new playground and RV campground at Loud Thunder Forest Preserve in Illinois City. Source

The new KOA shuttle will operate daily between the campground at 1200 Louisville Highway in Goodlettsville, Tenn, and the 5th Street and Commerce area of Downtown Nashville. The free shuttle is available to registered campground guests only. Source

The Michigan DNR and Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency are promoting quiet campgrounds for the Fourth of July weekend, a chance to enjoy Mother Nature, just without all the noisy celebrations. Source

A news release from N.C. State Parks said the new campground will offer 15 tent campsites, nine RV sites, six camper cabins and a bathhouse. It will be built with money from the $2 billion Connect NC bond referendum passed by state voters in 2016. Source
