(April 5, 2018) -- The guests this week are Steve Maldonado, the owner of Soul Ride Scooters, and Jason Edwards, the chief financial officer and co-owner of the company. Soul Ride produces a unique line of motorized scooters that fold up to the size of a bag of golf clubs and easily fit in an RV compartment. The scooters travel at 15 mph for 22 to 28 miles and recharge in just three or four hours. The scooters weigh 50 pounds, but can accommodate passengers up to 400 pounds. The guys explain how the scooters could be a profitable rental program for RV dealers and campgrounds.

National RV rental company Outdoorsy said Thursday (April 5) it has moved its corporate headquarters from San Jose, Calif., to Austin, Texas, to take advantage of the area’s talent pool, tech scene and outdoors culture.
