Elkhart unemployment rate falls below 2 percent

(May 23, 2017) -- The county's unemployment rate now sits below 2 percent at 1.9 percent, nearly declining a whole percentage point from the March unemployment rate of 2.8 percent. It also marks the lowest unemployment the county has seen in 18 years, the Elkhart Truth reported.
