Labor Day 2016: An army of men still unemployed

(Sept. 2, 2016) -- In 2015 the work rate (the ratio of employment to population) for American males age 25 to 54 was 84.4 percent. That’s slightly lower than it had been in 1940, 86.4 percent, at the tail end of the Great Depression, the Wall Street Journal reported.
