River turbines to power Canadian campgrounds

(Nov. 26, 2015) -- Several Alberta and British Columbia mountain parks will use river turbines to power some of their off-grid campgrounds next year. The partnership between Idénergie and Parks Canada will see the installation of 10 river turbines in Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier and Jasper national parks in the spring, the Calgary Herald reported.

Kansas city may ease RV restrictions

Merriam is the only nearby city that does not allow temporary parking, city staff told Prairie Village Post.

Friends, family rally around camper after fire

(Nov. 26, 2015) -- Cathy Kenley told the TV station eventually everyone figured out the fire was inside the camper and spreading to the home. The Kenleys got out safely but Donovan Mabie-Bahr went back inside the camper to rescue a dog. He suffered from smoke inhalation and was transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, according to KCRG-TV.
