First, a study released by Plymouth University in England noted that "children who camp in the great outdoors at least once a year go on to do better at school, as well as being healthier and happier, according to their parents." Second, Michigan police removed six children from their parents because the family was camping in tents and the children did not have access to electricity or running water.
