Wisconsin state park seeking dark-sky designation

(June 19, 2015) -- If approved by the International Dark-Sky Association, Newport State Park would become the state's first designated dark-sky location, which is determined based on visual limiting magnitude, artificial light and sky glow, the Door County Daily News reported.
