RV shipments to rise in 2014 and 2015

(Sept. 10, 2014) -- Wholesale RV shipments are forecast to reach 349,900 units in 2014, an 8.9 percent increase above the 2013 total of 321,127 units. In 2015, wholesale production is projected to reach 361,700 units, a gain of 3.4 percent over the projected 2014 total and the industry’s highest total since 2006.

(Sept. 10, 2014) -- “We’ve had a great response to the new Ambassador and Vacationer during dealer days and we can’t wait to show them to customers,” said Snell. “Both of these floorplans are similar, but we’re offering them at gas and diesel price points where the market is strong and consumers are asking for more product variety.”
