Spartan Motors Inc., parent to Spartan Chassis Inc., reported lower sales and earnings in its second quarter, ended June 30. The company reported net income of $0.2 million, or 1 cent per share, compared to $0.7 million, or 2 cents per share in the year-ago quarter.
