U.S., Canadian trade deficit narrows
(May 6, 2014) -- The nominal U.S. trade deficit narrowed in March, falling to $40.4 billion from $41.9 (revised from $42.3) billion in February, RBC Economics reported. The Canadian trade balance remained in surplus for a second consecutive month in March 2014, albeit at a smaller $0.1 billion level than the upwardly revised $0.8 billion surplus in February.
