RV loans continue to be good risk for lenders

(Jan. 2, 2013) -- The charge off rate for wholesale loans for dealers was 0.4 percent, while the rate for consumer loans was 1.41 percent, the report noted. On the consumer side, a total of 92,755 loans were made in 2012 totaling $3.8 billion. A total of $15 billion remained outstanding from prior-year loans. A total of 448,257 people were making payments on RV loans.
