EMU trikes have multiple uses

(Dec. 13, 2013) -- Using a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, the EMU can be completely charged within four to six hours and can be connected to any 110-volt outlet. When charged, it can travel at two speed settings, zero to 8 mph or 0 to 20 miles per hour, and can travel up to 20 miles on a single charge depending upon speed, distance, terrain and rider's weight.
