Spartan declares cash dividend

(Oct. 30, 2013) -- Spartan Motors, Inc. has announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per share of common stock. The semi-annual dividend will be payable on Dec. 19, 2013 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 14, 2013.

RVDA’s Butch Thomas featured as World Series youngest attendee

(Oct. 30, 2013) -- Fox 2 got a unique look at the World Series through the eyes of two fans who were there the first time, in 1946, when two of baseball’s most-storied franchises first squared off to win baseball's biggest prize. Morris "Butch" Thomas an his sister, Nancy, were photographed by the Globe-Democrat with their mother at the final game. Thomas is a former RV dealer who served as a field representative for the RV Dealers Association before his retirement last year.

Consumer prices rise 0.2 percent in September

(Oct. 30, 2013) -- "The year-over-year rate of growth in the overall CPI continued to be pushed lower by gasoline prices, which have declined on an annual basis in six of nine months this year to date. Even excluding the energy component, however, there is little evidence of price pressure in the system with the annual pace of core price growth holding below 2 percent for a seventh consecutive month in September," said Janzen.
