(July 8, 2013) -- Hidden Valley RV Park has been owned by the Coleman family and operated by family members Teri and Mark Blaschke for 40 years. But the family business was almost completely destroyed May 25 when a flood swelled the Medio Creek into a raging river that buried the 25-site park under 12 feet of water.

RV values unexpectedly rise at auctions last month

(July 8, 2013) -- Motorhomes came in at an average selling price at auction of $40,978, which is an impressive $1,632 (4 percent) more than last month’s $39,346. Towables, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, and camping trailers, rose to $11,381, a modest increase of $16 (much less than 1 percent) from last month’s $11,365.
