A relevant history of credit cards

(March 6, 2013) -- When I first started in the credit card industry, 23 percent of all sales of goods or services were on credit cards.  Now, because of the increase in credit card debt -- most Americans have four credit cards -- and because of the influence of debit cards, an astounding 68 percent of all transactions in the United States are now done by using credit or debit cards.
