Initial unemployment claims fall last week

(Dec. 6, 2012) -- Initial claims in the United States dropped by 25,000 to 370,000 in the week ending Dec.1,thereby marking the third consecutive sizeable monthly decline following 21,000 and 35,000 drops for the weeks of Nov. 24 and 17, respectively.
