RVDA releases final convention numbers

(Oct. 10, 2012) -- A total of 1,015 industry representatives registered for the 2011 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Oct. 1-5, compared to 1,078 in 2011, The RV Dealers Association announced today.  A total of 456 dealers attended this year's convention, compared to 462 in 2011.

California court rules against freshwater fishing

(Oct. 10, 2012) -- The economic analysis shows that the new regulations will impact more than 4,000 California lakes and reservoirs, and more than 20,000 ponds – including golf courses and Koi ponds, both under the broad legal definition of what is a "water of the state," the association warned. "What was once a $53 fish stocking fee could cost some lake operators and water districts more than $100,000 in environmental assessments," said Mlikotin.

RV dealers that have offered customers a “free gift” have been handsomely rewarded in 2012. For every 100 free giveaways, dealers have been selling on average 15 units to those individuals.
