Canadian consumer prices fall

(July 20, 2012) -- The all-items Canadian Consumer Price Index fell by 0.4 percent in June 2012. However, this decline was well short of the 0.7 percent drop recorded in June 2011, and thereby resulting in the annual inflation rate rising to 1.5 percent from 1.2 percent in May, said Desjardins.
