Repairs at S.D.’s Left Trailrace Campground extended

(June 12, 2012) -- Roughly $1 million in repairs to the Left Tailrace Campground at Big Bend Dam continue. A contract was awarded April 21 for electrical repairs and a general paving of the campground to include the pads and parking area. Due to the complexity and scope of the electrical work, the contract completion date was extended to the end of September.

Lil’ Snoozy prepares for big future

(June 12, 2012) -- “Lil Snoozy,” a fiberglass travel trailer is available directly from its manufacturer, Smoakin Concepts Composites, nationwide for less than $17,000. Smoakin Concepts Composites began selling the Lil Snoozy only in the Southeast. Based on customer input, changes were made in the past two years to ready the travel trailer for increased demand and increased production. This year, Lil Snoozy also is making the rounds at several consumer shows and will be sold to dealers.
