May auctions show mixed results for RVs
(June 4, 2012) -- Recreation vehicle values have begun to level off, or even back off a bit, from their earlier gains. The average motorhome had a wholesale price of $40,914, which was down roughly $1,500 from last month. Towables, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, and camping trailers averaged $11,156, an increase of roughly $250. Black Book is also seeing a slightly softer market for the high dollar models in the warmer climate areas for the first part of the summer season.
