Carefree rolls out Carefree Store program to dealers

(May 25, 2012) -- The consumer-friendly packaging and signage easily identifies the features and benefits while giving the dealer a professional looking, organized display.   Additionally, Carefree offers mobile displays that can be utilized during peak season to promote alternate locations such as checkout counters and entryways. As part of the program, dealers also receive POS displays that show RVers product upgrades and enhancements for their awning needs. 

Shipments up 9.8 percent through April

(May 25, 2012) -- RV sholesale shipments to retailers totalled 27,000 units in the April survey of manufacturers conducted by the RV Industry Association. That's 9.8 percent more than this same month last year.  Towable RVs rose to 24,500 units in April, a gain of 12.4 percent over April one year ago while motorhome shipments were off 10.7 percent this month to 2,500 units.
