Lazydays founder supports Hall of Fame

(May 15, 2012) -- A 2008 inductee into the RV/MH Hall of Fame, Wallace's donation comes only days after Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World Inc. and Good Sam Enterprises LLC, helped the new fundraising campaign by becoming the first to make a personal $25,000 pledge aimed at helping pay off the Hall's bank loans. The goal is to raise $100,000 in voluntary contributions by Aug. 31 to be matched by the Robert "Boots" Ingram family, which has offered a $100,000 challenge grant for the purpose of lowering the Hall's debt to 1st Source Bank by $200,000.

Family relocates to Jellystone Parks for summer

(May 15, 2012) -- Last summer was the first time the Wilsons tried relocating to Jellystone Park for the summer. The park is only seven miles away from their home, so it was easy for them to commute to their jobs from the campground. They hired their 15-year-old niece to babysit their son while they were away. Meanwhile, the kids spent their days swimming, fishing and riding bicycles.

Retail sales increase, consumer prices steady

(May 15, 2012) -- Retail sales rose a modest 0.1 percent in April 2012, slowing from sizeable 0.7 percent and 1.0 percent gains in March and February, respectively, RBC Economics Research reported. Expectations for the April 2012 consumer price index (CPI) report were for weakness in energy prices in the month to offset another modest increase in core prices and leave the overall index unchanged from March.

MaxxAire releases handheld remote for MaxxFan

Military members, families to get free national park passes

(May 15, 2012) -- Beginning on Armed Forces Day on May 19, active duty service men and women can obtain the new military version of the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Annual Pass. The pass will be accepted at National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Army Corps sites that charge entrance or standard amenity fees.
