Canadian manufacturing sales jump

(May 16, 2012) -- Canadian manufacturing sales rose 1.9 percent in March, rebounding from 0.2 percent and 2.3 percent drops in February and January, respectively. Industrial production in the United States jumped 1.1 percent in April, beating market expectations going into the report for a 0.6 percent increase, RBC Economics Research reported.
