The demonstration is in support of Navistar truck employees from Chatham, Ontario who are seeking a fair and equitable closure agreement with the company.

(April 20, 2012) -- Rocky View County council approved $21,000 to be used to produce a Sustainability Evaluation Study to help assess costs and provide revenue projections for the 150-acre Agricultural Recreation Park, to be built just southwest of Airdrie. A 125-vehicle RV park will be included in the project, reports the Airdrie City View.

(April 20, 2012) -- Last year, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) published a new rule that requires most employers to notify employees of their right to organize under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). April 30 was the deadline for employers to post information in conspicuous places to alert employees to this right, but a D.C. court has blocked the rule from taking effect.
