Virginia businessman sentenced in campground stabbing

(Nov. 9, 2011) -- On Monday, Michael Wayne Hales, a well-known Poquoson businessman, was sentenced to five years in prison, with all but one year of the incarceration suspended, for stabbing and seriously injuring a North Carolina man at a Thousand Trails campground a year ago, reports the Daily Press.

Tarpon Springs, Fla., city manager against buying land for proposed RV park
