Section of Pere Marquette State Park closes following wildfire

(Nov. 21, 2011) --  A wildfire of undetermined origin damaged 450 to 500 acres of timber in the easternmost section of Pere Marquette State Park in Illinois on Nov. 17. This section is closed and off-limits to hunting and other activities until further notice.
