(Dec. 19, 2014) — The Association of RV parks and campgrounds of Michigan (ARVC) has launched a new website that allows campers to search for a park in Michigan by region — northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest lower peninsula and upper peninsula. Searches can also be performed for campground features such as park and site amenities and recreation activities.

(Dec. 19, 2014) — Wellhouse Leisure will debut its new long wheelhouse base version of its Ford Custom Terrier at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show this February. The 37 cm longer, 5.3 m body length with the high-roof offers more interior living space and room for key features such as an L-shape kitchen and a rear, corner washroom with shower and Dometic cassette toilet, the company stated in a release. It will also have the option of a hot water system.

This upward trend marks the fifth consecutive year of increases and the highest travel volume recorded for the season. Only once in the past decade has there been a change in travel volume greater than five percent and that was a decline in 2007 as the recession was just getting started, the release stated.
