Campervans washed away by flooded New Zealand river

(Jan. 16, 2013) -- Four tourists, including 21-year-old Steve Harper of California, escaped being washed away by the flooded Waimea River and returned to retrieve one of their campervans and salvage some belongings today, reports the Nelson Mail.
