Iowa’s Wilson Island State Recreation Area to reopen Dec. 14

(Dec. 6, 2012) -- Wilson Island State Recreation Area will reopen on Dec. 14, for all uses except camping, 20 months after Missouri River floodwaters forced the park to close, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources announced Tuesday.
