MA: Horton’s campground is grandfathered

(March 27, 2017) -- Using photographs and advertisements from the 1950s as evidence, the attorney for Horton's Camping Resort told the zoning board of appeals on Monday that the campground was established years before the town adopted zoning in 1959, and therefore can move forward with plans to bring sewer, water and electricity to all 218 campsites without the town's review and approval.
